Menard Joins the Sea Schor Team!
Sea Schor is extremely excited to announce that expert reefer and local Chicago legend Menard Villaber (“Menard”) is teaming up with Sea Schor. Menard will be running the Buffalo Grove, IL retail store of Sea Schor every Wednesday and Friday from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. and available to share his expertise.
Sea Schor is also introducing “Menard’s Corner”, a special tank of rare SPS corals and other frags direct from Menard’s personal tank. This is the same tank that was the November 2006 Reefkeeping Magazine’s Tank of the Month (http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-11/totm/index.php) and source for thousands of frags to hobbyists in the Chicago area and around the country.
“I’m extremely excited to have Menard get directly involved with Sea Schor,” said Steve Schor, owner of Sea Schor. “Menard has a special talent with maintaining and propagating corals and he is one of the nicest people you could ever get to know. He is really going to up the quality of service we can offer the hobbyists here in the Chicago area.”
“I really look forward to getting back into a store and being able to see and help all those people passionate about reef keeping,” said Menard Villaber. “Sea Schor is one of the best resources in the area for the hobby and I’m glad to become part of it.”
Menard will begin working at Sea Schor on Wednesday, October 7th.
